Great buy!
Does what it supposed to and Gets rid of musty odor caused by excess moisture. 1- in small bathroom that has little to no ventilation. Other under kitchen sink. Lowest price for 2 pack I’ve seen on eBay, Amazon and retail stores. Amazed how much they remove unpleasant mold/mildew smell as well as moisture. A quick overnight charge of them once they turn green is easy and they’re ready to use again and again. I have placed this rechargeable dehumidifier in my gun safe for the past seven weeks, and the color indicator has not changed at all. My safe is placed inside my attached garage, and I cannot believe that virtually no humidity has entered my safe for almost two months. I open the safe several times a week so it is not like it sits completely sealed up with no possibility of moisture entering it. Works great for smaller places where a de-humidifier is not practical
Purchased two of these for use in my class-C motorhome for winters in Oregon. This does not work quickly, takes a week or so to start seeing real results. This smaller size is probably more suited for closets, safes but if you use more of them at the same time they work well. Easy to dry out again once the crystals have changed color by plugging into an electrical socket, which I was sure to do outside of the motorhome. Otherwise you just release the humidity back into the space you wanted to dry out. Love the hook on the unit so you can place it easily wherever you need. Helped a great deal with preventing mold from building up in the window sills. Plan to purchase more for storage units.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Effective and convinient
I have four of these, one for each gun safe, and they do a very good job of fighting the Florida humidity. When placed inside a full sized safe each unit is effective for 3-4 weeks. Naturally each time you open the safe door it lets in humidity, so the more you open the door to the safe the more you need to recharge/regenerate the unit. It takes about 12 hours to fully regenerate the unit and gets rather hot while it is plugged in. I find these plug-in units more convenient than the metal canisters of desiccant which have to be baked in the oven to regenerate.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Liked it so much I bought one for my father.

Use it for my Hakuba dry box instead of their desiccant packs
I decided to try this dehumidifier on a couple of Hakuba dry boxes I use for my camera lenses. Here in Hawaii during Hurricane season temps get up to 90-deg f and 85% humidity. Not a good environment for camera gear so I use dry boxes to store my camera bodies and lenses when not in use. These Eva Dry dehumidifiers work great and easily recharged. Today’s humidity was close to 90% and within an hour this dehumidifier took it down to 34% (error factor in this digital hygrometer was +1%). These are excellent replacements for the more traditional desiccant packs as they require less energy to recharge to full use again and fit easily in any container.

Initially, I was a little skeptical because of the size. I didn't think that they would do the job for any length of time because of their individual volume. I was wrong,- dead wrong. They are not bulky and that's a plus, for me at least, and they seem to work for a long length of time. So far, I've only used one of them because it hasn't yet needed to be recharged. And the fact that it's easy to recharge makes it a hell of a lot easier than using the oven, what I've had to do with my other desiccant canisters.
