I have repaired appliances for over 50 years and these parts i purchased ? worked fine however kenmore nor sears or anyone else for that matter list them in their catalogs as to just how many exact applications / Models they actually worked on. FYI they Fit MANY more than just the ones listed in their Parts catalogs. for anyone that is looking for this particular parts in the Future. any unit that uses this style of "Dogs" in the upper agitator will be Satisfied wit THESE as a Direct Replacement and FIT.

These dog gits (agitator dogs) are of poor quality. The swivel arm coming off the swivel point, is very thin and probably half the thickness it should be. The gits are quite loose when inserted in place making them prone to break easily. However, I don't know of any alternative manufacturer producing higher quality gits. Hopefully they will last. Perhaps I should have ordered several sets for future use. The defect has nothing to do with the seller however, I believe.

My agitator stripped and would turn both directions by hand. It should only turn one direction and has a silent ratcheting action as it does. It will just turn freely and turning the opposite directon rotates the whole plastic column when working as it should. I shopped for the cheapest price since most of these replacements are identical in quality but all over in price. I wasn't paying 30 or 40 bucks for an 8 or 10 dollar part. I actually only needed the 4 dogs that have teeth and the thrust spacer but bought the whole repair kit. Buy the kit, it's cheap enough. Every part was identical but the rubber flat washer/gasket for under the hex head bolt was just a flat shape. I opted to reuse the thicker, wider factory one since it was still resillient. Perfect, easy install with detailed directions. My disassembly was the tricky part since I did that before I ordered the part. It arrived in a couple days. Works like new. These parts do the trick. Depending on how note one washes a load of laundry, these dogs or paws will eventually wear down or self destruct. The last set of four I installed did last about ten years. About the only tools you will need ade a screwdriver to pry off the top. Then a 7/16ths inch socket on a 6" or longer socket extension and a ratchet.. I never had to replace any other parts other than these little things and the job can be done in about ten minutes. These parts fit and look like the original so I'll see how long they last. Inexpensive fix for many brands of washing machines.
