The Bridge Doctor is a removable device that installs easily through the sound-hole. A mounting block is fitting under the bridge via a screw. A tension rod is then installed between the mounting block and the tail-block of the guitar.

    Acoustic Bass...

    I put flats on a MK Dragonfly. After a knock the tension pulled the top too much. I have added this device and all seemed to go well. I am still working on tension adjustments but the dip on the e string side behind and to the side of the bridge is less. Use a hand drill and work slowly. On a bass you must chop off quite a bit of the tension rod. Make sure it clears any audio jacks or cables. It barely fitted due to a jack in the strap holder, but once in it seems to have NOT affected the tone at all. Rattle at lower frets now gone. Success.

    Works exactly as promised.

    Rather than an expensive neck reset, this great device pulls back the bulging belly at the bridge and flattens the top. It's brought back to life guitars that their owners were going to throw into a skip! Go steady and follow the instructions and it works like a treat. I've so far fitted four and got great results every time.

    This is an excellent product when properly fitted by a good guitar tech or luthier, capable of transforming a guitar with failing geometry. I have fitted quite a few to various guitars, and have always had good results, mechanically and in terms of tone. I am considering fitting these as standard in my own builds!

    Saving an old guitar.

    Belly repair

    Bought a bridge Doctor for my ageing Yamaha ,because the action had risen because of bellying near the bridge. I’ve fitted the Bridge Doctor screw mount version and it fits quite easily. Time will tell if it can flatten the belly off .
