I used this as a 24 volt DC power cable for a Valcom Speaker system. 20 gauge is just large enough without being flimsy or high resistance drop. Found the strands very easy to trim and tin (for soldering). Works very well with crimping terminals. 1000 foot reel great value if you have projects that require power or sound.
