These poles are much lighter than the pair I had before and retract to a fairly compact size. There is a clip on one of the poles that allows you to clip the poles together for easier storage. The poles extend at two points to allow you to set the height for your personal preference via clamps and round grub screws. If there is any downside then it is that the screws can be difficult to tighten sufficiently so that the extenders don’t retract whilst you are walking, but it is a minor niggle. They look very good to for the money I paid so I would recommend. They were dispatched very quickly too!

Nice light poles.My only gripe is the mud shoes came off and i lost them after my first walk.you would have to zip tie them on i think a s they unscrew in the mud. Quite annoying as will habe to buy more. Its usually muddy ground im walking on.
