Great value for money
I bought this for my father after his hip operation to take him to various hospital appointments. After looking to hire one, this was cheaper than a two week rental. It is very light and easy to lift in and out of the car boot. My dad is over 6 feet tall, but still the chair is very easy to push and very manoeuvrable with a small turning circle, good for getting in and out of lifts etc. We bought a separate memory foam pad which you really will need which increased the cost slightly but even so this is a good purchase. I would highly recommend the wheelchair. My only niggle is the detachable foot plates do not have a way of locking them on (they do have a lock to keep them facing forward when the person is sitting in the chair). So when I was lifting the folded chair in and out of the car the foot plates fell off. So remember to detach them before lifting!
