difficulty in getting it to operate properly
This Satnav was in Demo Mode - found it difficult to understand why you have to fit it in your car and drive just, to get rid of this Demo Mode. Plus no details were enclosed and I rang Garmin who said they would send me instructions but that hasn't materialise either. I used it yesterday to go to hospital. Did one route to the hospital but coming home, it took me another route, which incidentally was a far better route.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It's a sat nav
It takes longer than my old TomTom to boot up. It's routing gives you a couple of varying routes to choose from. Which I don't really need. Just get me on the Mway. I messed around in the settings to get what I wanted. It's pretty clear in delivering the instructions and junction road layouts are easy to see. Trouble is I was hoping for higher definition on the screen. It's a little old fashioned. But it does the job.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very good SatNav. Highly recommended.
For one thing (and it's a biggy) all alpha and numeric keys are on the same screen. I'm a Delivery Driver and constantly having to change screens just to enter a postcode is ridiculous so I'm so glad that this SatNav doesn't have that problem! Also, the search facility is great as (for example) I can enter the name of a High Street Retailer and it gives me every store in the area in just a few seconds and with the push of one button on the screen it can take me to any of those stores. The screen is bright and clear too. I also like that the prevailing speed limit is shown and that impending speed limit changes are highlighted too. It also warns me if I go over the speed limit and it warns about speed cameras too.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good GPS for the price
This is good GPS , maybe getting old now by modern standards but it has all you need , line guidance, live time maps and traffic updates (this depends on optional map purchases ) gives warning about heavy traffic ahead with alternative routes , fast adjusting to changes and easy to use, grate alternative to top models with funky gadgets and better screen qualities but it will do job just fine, I am using it to drive all over EU and it does sterling jobVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

We love our new satnav more with every passing day. It takes all the hard work and stress out of navigating and we're loving the many handy features that we are getting to grips with. This product took a lot of time to set up, and download information. On our first outing with it, she lost us on several occasions, just when we really needed an efficient Sat Nav; going through strange towns etc. So I returned it to Halfords.
