Elegant solution when protection is neeeded
Elegant solution when protection is neeeded, and for a change in Avid- territory, affordable. The high gloss acrylic does really look like glass, and the arm protection is so clever. The need came when decorating the listening room, and sleepless nights ensued about how to ensure the Avid Reference, which sits on top of a four tier rack, was protected from paint spatter. the cover hugs the shape of the three-legged beast, and provides a rigid foundation over which light plastic sheeting can be draped without fear of ensnaring the tonearm. It's also essential protection when grandchildren with inquisitive fingers take a closer look. And when a cleaner approaches with a feather duster in hand. Proactive prevention is better than insurance claims.

fits well and looks good - more like glass than perspex. Hopefully will help to stop visiting children ripping off my cantilever!
