Harmon Kardon CDR30
The sound quality of copies are very good. It also plays mp3 loaded cds. I wish that it recorded mp3 discs . That’s the only flaw. I have been using Harman Kardon cd reorders since there inception in 1999. I believe they are the best recorder. Some say the Denon cd recorder is the best. They are good. I have the 1600. It is great. The only problem is the Denon cost 2 to 3 times the price of a Harman Kardon cd recorder. I own 7 Harman Kardon cd recorders. 2cdr2s: 4 cdr20s: and 1 crt30. I stocked up on them because they are becoming obsolete. I believe the cdr30 is the best out of them all because of its capabilities. The harman-kardon cdr30, is an exceptional mid-level cd-player/recorder.
The harman-kardon cd-player/recorder is the first recorder I have ever used capable of recording and playing back accurately extended frequencies, including sub-sonic frequencies. Records so low, you can't get under it and brilliant highs that you can't get over. Exceptionally accurate analog to digital conversion when recording from analog input signals. No difference between original source and recording when compared with a graphic analyzer or tympanic perception. Zero detected harmonic and transient distortion. Extremely impressive dynamic range and signal to noise ratio greater than 105db. Don't throw your money away by buying an entry level recorder with bells and whistles concealing the fact that their dynamic range and signal to noise ratio is hardly better than 50; and plagued with harmonic & transient distortion that will drive you mad.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
