It works great! Years ago I got a heart rate monitor that was good. However it eventually failed. I have been looking all over for a replacement. I found a few but they had problems or were too costly. To the best of my knowledge, the fancy wrist monitors have smaller displays that must be turned on by moving your wrist, tapping or swiping. That is hard to do when you are exercising vigorously. Furthermore, the band works with the machines at my gym so I do not have to look at the watch when using them. Note that the chest strap and the watch band are of reasonable quality. The battery cover is on the front rather than back of the wrist strap so sweat shouldn't get in. The only downside is of the monitor is that it can be hard to use some of the features, but I have seen worse. I think this "comes with the territory", that is, using a watch configuration at a computer terminal.Read full review

It is expensive. I have to say time will tell, but it appears to return the same data as the previous Garmin Heart rate monitor that I still have. It is tight, but can likely be adjusted. The only advantage, and excuse my ignorance, is that the battery compartment is more easily accessible. Keep in mind time will tell as I use it more.

I got the monitor in a timely manner. The price was very good. I just had to insert a regular batterie. This is much better than my former monitor, where I was unableI to change the batterie because of tiny screws. Here one can just use a regular coin to open and close the batterie cover. I tested the monitor with my Garmin, and it worked perfectly. I can only recommend the seller. That is, what you expect.

This is a 5 star product because they don't have a six star rating !!! I have been using this same HR monitor for 10 years and I just purchased this one again. The monitor lays flat against my chest and the strap does not ride down my body so it is always comfortable once I put it on and I don't have to worry about it sliding down or repositioning it. The accuracy of the unit seems to be right on point and very rarely throughout those 10 years have I seen it give erroneous readings. I have replaced my unit a few times over the years just because of the smell factor of my sweat , the amount of sweat I subject the HR monitor to and the fact that it is more cost effective to just buy a new unit rather than buying a new battery and changing it since I ride around 5000 miles a year with it. Sometimes after a ride when the group is just hanging out I forget that I even have it on until I go to get changed so for me this is THEE HR monitor !!!Read full review

Works great with garmin edge 510. Just add battery and it registered right away. Maybe not the latest and greatest but it works well and is fairly comfortable even on 5+ hour bike rides. Way cheaper than buying a new bike computer and heart rate monitor combo.

Picked up and paired immediately by my Fenix 3 and Edge. Seems to be accurate when compared to my other Garmin HRM. Comfortable. The clasp feels a little fragile, but it hasn't broken yet after several uses. I'd recommend it to anyone with a compatible device.

This device is using Ant+ and not Bluetooth. That means I can record the heart rate on my phone and see the heart rate real-time on my watch. Both can be connected to the strap at the same time. Was brand-new and works perfect.

This used Garmin heart monitor seems to work great. It has performed fine on several vigorous bike rides and interacts appropriately with my Edge 500.
