I use power tools a lot at work & home & appreciate a nice to use tool when I get my hands on one. This little drill and it's DF332DZ non-hammer twin are a delight to use. There are cheaper 10.8v Makita drills:- the very recent 333 nearly as compact model, which is a good drill, and the original 331, which is mechanically similar but more bulky. They're a bit less powerful and run more slowly too. However the moment I pulled the trigger, I knew this was on a different plane. It is powerful, fast and tactile. I don't need it, but am buying another anyway. Obviously not for heavy jobs. You need 18v tools for that. But easily as powerful as the more modest ones, and so much lighter. You can get quite a lot of work out of the little 2A.hr. batteries too.
