Compelling Read
I read this after watching the film of the same name. I love the film, which is touching, thought provoking and sensitively done. The book, although great, is definitely aimed at the teen market, whereas the film is more accessible to viewers of any age in my view. I'd recommend the book, especially to young adults. It's an easy read on grounds of readability though can get heavy sometimes with the issues that it brings out. Warning: contains discussions of mental health issues with teens, violence in relationships, violence against gays, suicide and abortion, though these events are not all linked.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
