Fab pond combo, highly recommend
I absolutely love this! I have a 6500litre pond and went for a bigger size pump/filter combo (basically was replacing like for like, size-wise). Rather than spending much more on the well-known brand I originally had, I did my research and PondXpert came up as a good option. And also to say here, this PondXpert combo is way more expensive if you were to purchase pump and filter separately, or from other outlets. Delivery and communication were great, I ordered late on a Friday and it was delivered the following Tuesday (in a 1-hour time slot). It was relatively easy to set up, including wiring up to an outside junction box. I would have preferred step-by-step instructions - I hadn't installed a whole set up before, but to be fair, it wasn't rocket science (my trial-and-error tips are to locate the tubing and wiring before attaching to the electrics and filter). It is working great. Apparently, it is a low energy pump so waiting to see if there is a difference in my energy bill. My pond is looking very clear, and I wait to see how easy it is to clean the filter, but it cannot be any worse than Oase filter box. All that is needed - except the water
It had all the things we needed, underlay, liner, pump, filter, hose and clips. A little search on You Tube and we have a lovely pond with a picturesque waterfall. Brilliant. I would recommend also obtaining some black expanding pond foam - it makes life much easier. The advice from Alex (the supplier - pondkeeper co uk) was great too.
