Great motherboard with a couple minor annoyances
Bought this to replace a different LGA 1155 motherboard that had failed. Worked flawlessly in my rig with an Ivy Bridge Core i5 processor. A couple negative issues though: * The BIOS was initially configured to be in Chinese. Had to hunt around to find the language setting to change it to English. Even after that, a few words in various submenus are still in Chinese (isn't too big of an issue) * The IO plate that came with the motherboard was cut a little too big, so it didn't fit into the case without a lot of force and bending. Never had this problem with other IO plates. Overall, the motherboard is holding up well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

VERY FAULTY
Extremely faulty. The motherboard switches on but two of the four DIMM RAM slots don't work -- will not boot when 3 and 4 slot is used and the PCI-E slots seem to be dead as I tested two graphics cards and neither were not detected. Annoying auto-restart-after-shutdown issue
There is a probability with this Gigabyte motherboard that it will restart after shutdown.Very very annoying! It persistently restarts 4 seconds after shutdown from Windows 10. If tried with Windows 7 and even Ubuntu, the outcomes are the same. Gigabyte officially suggests upgrade to the latest Bios, but this mobo has the latest one when shipped. Some forum poster claimed it's an inherent bug with some Gigabyte mobos and someone doubted the malfunction or damage of south bridge(due to their "very special" refurbishment method...?) There are tons of posts and discussion on tech forums regarding the defect, and Gigabyte itself also suggests "please contact your supplier to arrange further examination on the hardware". Great motherboard
Had a older 3rd generation i7 3770 cpu in a hp elite the power supply went out and since hp uses no standard connectors on there products I decided to buy a std power supply and this motherboard I couldn't be happier the motherboard is a lot faster then the hp one and now when ever I decide to upgrade to a new gene processor I can just swap out the board and I'm on my wayVerified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished
