A good but not streamlined item of footwear
They always ask you too soon for your opinion. My initial view is that I find the toe too bulbous and preferred my Doctor Martin Chelsea boot's more streamlined toe shape. However they are probably easier to get on and off for that reason. They are too new to judge how comfortable they eventually will be when broken in. I have had my DM boots for about 17 years. Although they still look good with a military shine, the crease that forms between the upper foot (vamp) and toe box did split in places (i stitched it up).Probably a common weakness in this style. Plenty of leather conditioner here might help to prevent this. So all in all a nice boot for comfort but a bit 'safety boot' rather than dress boot, in appearance for my liking.
