Asa DIYer, these are better to use under a car than normal reading glasses, they fit the shape of the head better so don't get knocked off when in confined spaces, just be aware, unlike normal reading glasses, only the lower area is +2.0 diopter, maybe not an issue as normally "you" look down to read!

Bought these as I'm at an age where anything closer than 60cm is difficult to focus on, and reading glasses are great but put everything distant out of focus. The problem with these safety specs is the magnified portion of the lens is the bottom third rather than the bottom half - it's just too small an area , and an awkward angle to look through without eye strain. It's a shame bolle have missed the point as this is a good quality product otherwise at a fair price. If they increased the lensed area by 30-50% it would be really useful instead of use-less.

I use power tools and gardening equipment. It is annoying when I cannot lay my hands of safety gear. Buying a five pack of glasses means I can leave them lying where ever I need them. No temptation to forgo safety glasses for convenience. One caveat. With strimmers I use these and a face shield. Ditto grinders

I have tried various Bifocal safety glasses in the past some have been very hard to see your normal vision making it hard to see trip hazards ie going down stairs, with these Bolle glasses I don't have that problem. Needs a case though

As safety glasses go they do the job as well as any. The bifocals are not as good as I would have liked, could have done with the lens covering more area you do have to do a bit of fishing around until you find them vision wise.
