Great series from an amazing author
The White Dragon was the first novel I read of Anne Mcaffrey's that I read in high school and I fell in love with this and more of her series of books. She really knows how to build a story either from diving into the action right off or slowly building the intensity for the reader's interest. This actual series has quite a number of books that builds the entire society's makeup, from the environment to the rules to the why's and wherefores of the civilization's structure, government, and people in g general. I read these books about 40 years ago. I ordered this triple thinking I would enjoy them once again over the summer. Unfortunately my husband grabbed the book and hasn’t put it down since.
