not good for a fast powerful crossbow
Bought this puller to pull bolts from a crossbow target. I am shooting a new Carbon Express Pile Driver 390. This puller will not pull bolts from the target, slips up to the fletchings while barely moving the bolt. The grip area is way to short and the pliers flex to much. Since have bought a Double D Magnum grip puller that is very easy to use and does not slip at all. If you want a puller that works ever time and even has a 100% guarantee get the double d, you will never need another puller unless you lose it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bednar Plastic Arrow Puller
I shoot a fifty pound compound. This puller does not pull the arrows out of our targets. The plastic just bends and slides along the arrow. Waste of money for anything but a very light beginner bow, and for those light bows a puller is not needed. Disappointed. Did not meet expectations
I already had a rubber hand type arrow puller. The kind where you wrap it around the arrow and squeeze while you pull. The problem with it, is that its not very effective in very difficult to pull arrows, such as an arrow shot at a new rhinehart target. I thought the Ten Point Bednar puller would be more effective, since it had a handle, giving you better leverage to pull and squeeze at the same time. Turns out, this puller was not any better than my old rubber puller. Even with using the smallest rubber attachments and squeezing as hard as I could, the puller would still slip on the shaft and would not budge the arrow one bit. Makes Life Easier
Before we bought this tool, we had to pull our arrows out of the target by hand. Sometimes you did not think you would get the arrow out. With this tool, the arrows come right out and you don’t have to worry about damage because it protects the arrow. Does not work for tough arrows
