This book is very helpful for figuring out AEP geaboxes.
Don't get me wrong, it's by no means the last word on AEP gearboxes - but for its modest length it was a great guide to how to take apart, and more important put back together gearboxes. Naturally it doesn't help that every gearbox is a little different, either. With this book, and the YT videos as a guide you ought to be able to figure out how to get your gearbox back together! I knew practically nothing about gearboxes, didn't know where half the parts are supposed to go, and this book was very useful, in a way that the videos aren't, for answering most of my questions on how to reassemble. Explains what all the parts do, where they go, what order to reassemble them, and has a lot of very helpful photos and a step by step guide. Along with youtube videos, this book was essential, to me anyway, for clarifying how a gearbox goes back together, and a great guide to learning - and the most important thing I learned, DON'T take the gearbox apart unless you have a good reason (If it works, do not fix it!)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
