Adequate
These cost like 20-25 bucks, are just basic foam/rubber blocks you put your machine on. It improved vibration and noise and movement of the machine, but did not resolve it. It's better but not good. The application in my case is on a smooth tile surface, with an extra large front load washer. The washer would vibrate and slide and move to the right, and push the drier to the right as well. It still does, but way less. I'd say with 10 uses in the past it would move 10 inches. Now with 10 uses it moves an inch. The only down side is it's a little harder to move the washer back now (because of the pads).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great improvement
I have an upstairs laundry closet with a large HE front load washer. Vibration during the spin cycle was just awful. I added these under the feet of both the washer and dryer (keeping them level with each other). I can still hear the machines but vibration is greatly reduced. For example I can hold phone calls and sleep in the next room. I can watch TV one floor down. When I did routine maintenance pulling the machines out to check hoses and clean the floor, I replaced the ads with the exact same ones. I am not sure they needed replacing but I had new ones on hand just in case, so I put them in. The old ones were fully intact with small imprints from years of being under the machines' feet.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Our LG washing machine attempted to "run away from home" on several occasions, a situation made worse by pedestals and a hardwood floor. These pads completely stopped the problem. I bought one set new, and a second set used, for our dryer... the used pads had marks on them suggesting they had been installed upside down, so check the instructions before installing.
