Grundig S 350
This is really a Great radio. No ssb is the only downside. Very sensitive with great audio. It also has very good medium wave reception. I own two of these radios and love them. Battery life is very good. I read reviews where people say that you can't defeat the sleep timer, that's not true. If you short press the power button it will activate the sleep timer. If you long press it radio will stay on. I have a Sony icf-2010 and a Icom R-75. Super great radio, here in Panama other radios have marginal reception. This radio has exceptional signal NO MATTER where we are, in the interior, in the mountains, in a valley, it doesn't matter. We only use the AM/FM band. Better still is the fine turner dial which allows fine tuning the frequency to get better sound. Battery operated if desired, not a heavy radio, great carrying strap and assembly. Antenna is easily extended or telescoped down with ease.
