No Helper Needed!
On Boats when working with wood, seldom is anything 'straight'. Working with this tool & a chalkline to outline edges via multiple marks for bulkheads and when cutting them out alone, this thing's priceless! Paid for itself in aboutthe first 20 minutes of NOT needing an 'assistant' on the other end of the line. You won't be disappointed, it's inexpensive, it WORKS and it can clamp on to up to a 1" thick piece of ply or hold a mark from a 100' tape while You stretch it out, no problem.
