I am a contractor, work alone, and have worked off ladders up until i decided to try the stilts. It took me about an hour to get comfortable on them as there is some adjustments for a persons walk, weight etc that requires moving screws, heel bar etc. To say the stilts have been a plus is an understatement. I am currently building a home inside a metal building and the time savings and convenience has been amazing. I finished all my drywall, primed and am currently cutting in for the first coat of paint. I did have to alter my thinking some as I now make sure I can reach sanding blocks, brushes, paint, etc. while strapped in, having to take the stilts off to go get something can be frustrating. I love not having to get up and down ladders. I don't know how this set compared to other stilts but I can't imagine needing anything else. This set of stilts is well built and worth the money.
