For the price you can’t complain but people will lol.. It would benefit from showing that you have a message but it’s cheap we barely use house phone much now due to mobiles so yes great phone for our needs

For me anyway. If a message is left an icon appears on the handset screen, which is very difficult to see especially where my phone is situated, in a darkish recess. I'd have to pick up the phone every time to check for new messages. So I bought a BT phone in the sales and it has a flashing light and (bit over the top) a beeper for when a new message is received, so messages can be picked up straightaway.

All is good. The directions are long and I am still finding my way round how to use. Basics were easy to follow and combining a call blocker with the answer machine and all the other facilities means it has all you could possibly want in a phone.

the phone works OK. But the ring tone is very low volume. For someone a little hard of hearing like me it's hopeless. I could hear it if I were in the same room, but not otherwise. Also the connection was poor - there was a faint crackle on the line, so hearing the voice on the other end not good either. I always knew Binatone was at the lower end of the market...now I know why.
