it does work
This is the best for getting rid of slugs/snails, my lupins take a battering every year with snails, don't really like using the blue pellets, as they leave dead slugs/snails and plenty of slime, with these no sign of slugs/snails/slime, lupins have grown back healthy, only way you can tell that slugs/snails have been out is the pellets are disappearing. Not very effective
I switched to this product at the end of last year because I worry a lot about what the poison in conventional slug pellets can do to other organisms. I really wanted these pellets to work out but unfortunately they just didn't. After a whole growing season of using Sluggo exclusively, the number of slugs and snails in my garden seems to be significantly higher than in previous years and some of my plants have been eaten to shreds. I also had to use a lot of these for them to have any effect and reapply often. All in all, I think it was definitely worth giving Sluggo a try but unfortunately it did not work out for me. The cardboard box these come in is pretty useless too. It just gets squashed in the mail and the pellets come out of the edges and end up everywhere.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

2 weeks no results YET.
So far there is no change, slugs galore but I am nt running down the product, it's only been 2 weeks so perhaps after a full month I will see results. I like the fact that as a dog owner it is safer than the old style very toxic pellets that can kill dogs. At least this one won't.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Box arrived damaged
The pellets spread out of the box and the packaging, so it was in the postman's van all over. The rest stayed in the box, so didn't send it back. I think the packaging needs improved.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Seems to be working.
Slugs have decimated my garden this year. so I had a massive hunt to find a non-poisonous to birds etc slug killer - sluggo. My plants have stopped being munched. I still find slugs trying to get in my conservatory, strangely, and of course I'm not seeing the dead ones as they go underground to die. I think it's a success.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
