It is worth the monty
I had this item three years ago and I decide to have a second one since my pool has two returns. They collect bagful of debris everyday. Of course there still more debris floating on the water surface for me to clean but just imagine if the debris in the bag were in the water. The device often get detached from the returns and needs to be put back. It is a simple devise, simple to use and it works. It seems to be discounted, though. No Leaves; No Needles; No Bugs
Our inground pool is surrounded by pine and oak trees. In addition, the surface of the pool seems to attract thousands of tiny bugs! I followed the instructions and suggestions to increase flow, and I couldn’t be more pleased! I put it on last evening and woke up to a clean pool! Nothing went down to the bottom of the pool! The Bag was filled with what looked like millions of bugs. I only had to net the live bugs that had just flown in for a swim! Who would have guessed that such a simple gadget would really work! It should be called Pool Angel
It should be called Pool Angel. It really works to skim little bugs and leaves in your pool. Here in Florida we use our pools all year long and have tiny flying insects so small they can get through screen enclosures. I'm on my second one, they do wear out eventually. The folk at the manufacturer are super nice and helpful with parts and adapters. My pool service tried to get me to stop using it, but they could not keep up with the summer insects,. It doesn't use any power, is silent, and the only downside is you have to hose out the "sock" every so often, which is when you realize how much debris it took out of circulation. Got leaves?
We have A LOT of leaves that fall into our pool. This device has been THE BEST item in helping me with the abundance of leaves. I've actually installed two, and have used them for over two years. Time, chlorine, and sun (and kids!) have caused me to have to replace one now and then, but totally worth it. *COST SAVER TIP*... the replacement socks are a bit expensive. I buy cheap knee-high stockings and use them! Costs me anywhere from 50 cents to a dollar per stocking! They can be reused a time or two, or just thrown out.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I bought this to replace a Pool Devil that wore out from use.
This is my 3rd Pool Devil. The first 2 eventually wore out from use. I really like the way it keeps the pool surface clear of floating debris. My pool is 40 x 20 so it's a big surface and the Pool Devil really helps to keep it clean.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Saves me a ton of hassle!
Well, the thing works like no get out. Included socks don't last more that a couple of weeks so I went to Wally and got a pack of cotton tube socks. They last months. They fit . You can throw them in the washer. I like this pool tool because I don't have to use the net very much. If at all. In Florida. Have a screened area..
