It's a nicely engineered kit, goes together with no problems, but! (There's always a but) if you are looking for an accurate representation, there is a big problem in the missile bay, the launch arms are too small and the launch mechanism is poorly depicted. Will depict a good model in travel mode, not so good in launch mode
Nice to see a mainstream company making unusual subjects from Russia, and in this scale. Price is a bit dear but aren't all model kits these days? Not started building it yet but it looks nice in the box and has plenty of detail on it. Zvesda are pretty good at making kits so there shouldn't be any fit problems like a few other companies from the same area.
Iskander in place and prepared for lunch General, we await your orders....
For 1/72 scale this is a pretty good rendition of the 'Iskander'.Well detailed wih clear instructions although some external details around the cab and launcher /erector are from the earlier prototype model and not the version currently serving in Belarus.
Some sanding and reshaping was required in the assembly as it usually is with 1/72 models and final painting details and advice on camouflage was obtained from Google. My 'Iskander' together with a small detachment of infantry for area defence, including' manpad' of SAM launchers, is currently hidden in a wooded area close to the Polish border, awaiting final instructions from High Command.....
