Just what I needed
I bought this item because I am a bit hard of hearing whereas my wife has particularly good hearing. This meant that when watching TV, I wanted the volume so high that she said it hurt her ears. If she set the volume it was so quiet I could not properly hear anything. This little item really solves the problem. I listen via the optical digital output of the TV through this DAC and headphones and can hear every word clearly while my wife is listening to the TV speakers at much lower volume.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
