Mechanical mastery.
I was a little hesitant to spend close to £70 on a replacement set of machine heads when the Grovers I had on my Epiphone LP were top quality anyway but, I took the plunge I cannot fault these D'addario Planet waves auto trim locking machine heads. The quality is absolutely superb, they look the part in black & chrome and feel the part too, smooth and stylish! The locking auto trim works perfectly, I can honestly say it would probably take you longer to unravel the high 'E' string from its pack than it will to fit it ready to tune, which by the way takes a turn or so, plus the loose end is cut off for you - fact!
