Gone to the dogs
Yes, I bought this for my dog. I have a lab/chow/great dane mix who will be turning 17 in less than 2 months. He's always liked to eat snow when we've gone up to the mountains but now that his internal thermostat is out of whack eating snow on warm days helps to cool him down. Enter the Ninja. I no longer need to go to the mountains for snow since the Ninja will turn ice cubes into snow in seconds. My old guy loves it and cools it cools him down almost instantly. Hey, we've been together 16 years (came from the animal shelter) so it's the least I could do. I've just started making smoothies for myself so there is a secondary benefit. Excellent Nearly New Ninja Blender

Does the trick.
Small size saves me counter space. Easy to clean and I like that I can easily eat out of it, too. Just remove the blade and it's a bowl. But it does feel and look cheap and I'm worried the plastic is not the best quality. Also, the piece that connects the bowl to the engine is not easy to clean. JUST THE RIGHT SIZE FOR ME.
I had a large Ninja and it was just too big. This one it just the right size. I like the small container for chopping food too. My only complaint was that it the package should have been put in a shippable package. The original box was not heavy enough. There was a lot of damage to the box. Makes ice into snow!

Does the job
It is very easy to clean compared to a regular blender because food cannot sit in the bottom part under the blades. You can remove the blade portion to thoroughly clean the bottom. I use it to make shakes and it crushes ice nicely. There have not been any big ice chunks. It grinds it up good. I am glad I bought this blender instead of a traditional style blender.
