Love Oliso Iron
I absolutely love this iron, it makes thenpressing portion of sewing much more enjoyable. The iron heats up so fast and not having to stand it on its heel is a great time saver. Cord is nice and long, the water reservoir is super easy to fill and large, and you get a TON of steam even on the lower steam setting. Takes some getting used to...
I do like the "stand-up" no scorch features, but it takes some getting used to after many years of having to stand an iron on its end. Also, I have to change part of my sweeping iron movement to keep it from occasionally standing up in my hand. Despite those quirks, I like it a lot. Heats fast, not as heavy as my old iron, and the steam supply lasts longer. Also, since I leave the iron set up in my sewing room, there's much less chance of it getting knocked over. Great iron for Quilting
The reason I bought this iron was for quilting. I liked the feature of not having to rest it on its heel every time I pressed a seam. Having it lie horizontal with the "hand censored lifting/lowering action'" seemed like a real bonus to me. It is something you have to get used to but not a hard task to do. A negative feature ....... it does not glide as easily as my previous iron on the fabric being pressed and I feel it is a bit overpriced. Amazing new product
This is especially great for someone who does a lot of quilting, it reduces strain on your wist by not having to rotate the iron each time you press the fabric. Adding water to the tank is a breeze with the built in spout. Steaming works perfectly and is light and comfortable to use. My 3rd iron
I have high hopes for this iron. This is my 2nd week and going great. I need an iron that won't shut off every few minutes. I'm using it for quilting. My last cheapy iron did this beeping constantly then shut down. Now we can't have that when sewing pieces together. Another plus I'm finding I like is my fingers aren't getting steamed when holding down fabric ends.
