Bosch TDS8030GB STEAM GENERATOR
I have only used this product a few times since it was purchased and still getting used to it. Over all I am very pleased with the steam generator. It makes light work of a large pile of ironing, and really nice to have lots of various heat settings for different fabrics and clothes. The water tank holds a good amount of water which means you are not constantly filling it up, and I can get a reasonable amount of ironing done on a medium size pile of clothes.before I need to refill. A great improvement on my last steam iron which I was constantly having to top up on during the ironing. I choose the black and white iron which is smart . A little large in size, not so much the iron, but the steam generator as a whole. And the weight of the iron and base is quite heavy to cart around, but the results of the ironing make up for that. As I say, I have only just got this iron so only time will tell how it responds to wear and tear and if I am just as pleased with it after a year as I am now. Expensive but worth the money
A very expensive iron - about eight times more than I've ever paid for an iron in my life. However, it is worth every penny. I give it 10 out of 10 for looks alone - it is a sleek, wonderfully designed iron that is easy to use. Fill it with water, switch it on. select the required setting, remove the safety catch and you're good to go. I tested the jeans setting and ironed five pairs of jeans in 15 minutes. It really does generate a good amount of steam and glides through creases. I bought a new ironing board that accommodates a steam generator - that too was very expensive, but again worth the money. I'm really pleased with my purchase.
