Just the thing for the reluctant plumber
This pair of low power pumps is very well worth installing, and much easier to fit than a conventional power shower pump. It can be fitted into water lines merely by removing a short length of pipe. Also the low power cables can be fitted unobtrusively in ducting on top of a skirting board. The pumps switch themselves on or off as required within a few seconds. I fitted mine to a shower which has a very small head of pressure. The two pumps in tandem have turned a feeble shower into a satisfactory one. They work best when the mixing valve is demanding both hot and cold water. On hot alone, the flow rate drops. The only minor criticism, is that the pumps are noticeably noisy in operation, but that could depend on exactly where they are fitted. Mine are fitted within a stud wall, and can be reached through an off-the-peg access hatch.
