They hold strongly and remove cleanly using 3M stretch-release technology. They’re easy to apply and remove, leaving no holes, marks or sticky residue. Rearranging them is as easy as applying a Command™ Water-Resistant Refill Strip, so you can take down, move and reuse them again and again.

Used to hang a magnetic knife rack

The magnetic knife rack was about 2 kilos and previous sticky fixers failed which was not ideal as the knives are very sharp. These fixers have worked really well although I used the whole pack to be on the safe side. They are not the type of fixers with the velcro type interface. They are double sided sticky pads but that was fine for my application. There is a correct side for the wall but I'm not sure what the difference was between the two sides. Good product and I would buy again.

Usually do the job, but a bit of a faff, and not cheap

Command hooks usually work OK, but you need patience, as you need to ensure the wall you are sticking to is absolutely clean, spend half a minute pressing each hook onto the wall, then wait an hour for the bond to reach full strength. Once you've done all that, they usually stay stuck - and are capable of taking the weight of Christmas lights. They are not particularly cheap - typically £4 for 20, so 20p each for the tiny hooks. having said all that, they are market leaders, and are probably the best self-adhesive hooks on the market.

  • Great for outdoor fairy lights

I stuck these to the outside of our house on the plastic window frames and porch frame. I slightly dusted before sticking I left it a day and then hooked my outdoor lights up. Still there now 2 weeks later, no problems - I’m really pleased with how easy they were to use and that you can’t see them so will be ok to leave as they are until next year

  • Straightforward to use, fit for purpose.

A little fiddly and time consuming to stick onto UPVC window frames but, once done, putting fairy lights up was a doddle and very quick. They are very unobtrusive and so they've stayed stuck on for now, hoping they'll still be there next December for re-use!

  • Sooooo useful and last AGES

Bought my first set of these 3 years ago and they lasted 3 christmases for putting lights up outside. They also helped when I was growing some potted trees when keeping them pointed upwards during strong winds. Ordered more this year as I’ve added more lights outside, my neighbour has bought some now as she was well impressed with how long they’ve lasted and how well they work. I’ve also used them for hanging floating candle lights in my cabin. They are well worth the money!

  • Good Buy

Used these yesterday to hang fairy light decorations in my sunroom, seemed to stick really well and are nice and small and clear which is good as my last ones were rather bulky looking and found after a few weeks they started to fall off so hoping these last longer🙂

  • Great for lightweight jobs

I've used Command hooks for several years and they are excellent if you want to hang things from, say, upvc window frames or even from the glass itself. Perfect for Christmas lights and the like. As long as the surface is clean and dry, they will attach easily and are also easily removed. I would suggest that single hooks are for lightweight hangings, whereas you might want to spread the weight over two or more for anything a bit heavier. I actually leave my hooks on the window frame all year round. Being clear, they are barely noticeable.

  • Small but piwerful

With some scepticism I purchased these clips to hang part of my outdoor Christmas lights. I used a combination of traditional pipe clips and Command clips where I was absent of pipe. After two weeks of fairly blustery weather, my lights are still hanging securely. The clips are magic!! One word of advice: make sure you place the clips on a dry and flat surface.

  • Dont bother, impossible to use.

I was very disappointed with this product. Its impossible to peel off the sticky strips to attach the pads without damaging the pads beyond use ( see photos) Also I have found the equivalent product for 90p in a local shop that work perfectly so these are not good value for money either.

  • Xmas lights problem solved

Great product for sticking icicles along the front elevation of our house for Xmas and then removing pads. Recommend for this use 100%
