Best electric shave
I’ve had an electric Braun with the liquid cleaning system and for many years it was good but after around 12 years I decided I was due for an upgrade, and what an upgrade it is ! The new 7 series is in my opinion excellent and shaves very close very quickly and also has a nice digital display for hygiene and charge in the battery. I have always used electric shavers as my face doesn’t like wet shaving so I’m very use to using them so they don’t suit everyone that’s certain, but if you’ve always like me used electric then it’s well worth the money.

Could be better for the Price
I wouldn't recommend the Braun Series 7 Electric Shaver because I don't think it does a particularly good job when it comes to shaving which after all is it's primary function.It seems to take ages to give you a what I would call a decent shave and in my opinion is a worse shaver than the one I had before which was a Braun Series 3 which doesn't make much sense as I would have thought this model would this one would have been an improvement being a later version.One thing that is also not better on this model than the Series 3 is the fact that it doesn't last all that long before it needs putting in the clean and charge system due to the fact that either the battery has run down or the hygiene segments have run down.This means the shaver needs cleaning virtually every time you use it leading to quite a lot of the cleaning cartridges being used in a fairly quick time.All this combined with the expense of replacement parts such as the foil and cutter cassette and the cleaning cartridges themselves means that after having two Braun Shavers I would definitely look at other brands the next time I need one.

Great shaver, but the cleaning system might be an issue for some.
Very easy to use. Quite expensive, but still good value for money. One drawback is the cleaning system requirement - you are required to buy expensive cleaning fluid, which does not last very long. However, a brief search on the internet, produced several guides on how to make your own.

A real smoothie
I had a foil razor for years that I was happy with . Then I changed to a rotary headed one which proved to be an instrument of torture. I decided to cut my losses instead of my face and bought the Braun. What a difference and what a bargain at the price I paid ! 2 minutes each morning gives me the best shave ever, even judged against a wet shave with a new blade.

Expensive to buy and maintain and a bit gimmicky re cleansing
Expensive. No better than £50-60 foil shavers. Big no no is the cleansing station that it recommends you use each time. The cleaning cartridge cost £4 each and last less than one month. So that is another £50 each year. I was trying to avoid the cost of wet shave blades (which are always better) and find I still have a high ongoing cost plus a big initial outlay. If I go electric again I will buy a much cheaper razor with no gimmicky cleansing method and just change it every 3 or 4 years. Re shaving performance. It is ok but not that fantastic and of course will never get close to wet shaving

Very good value shaver
As a 72. yr old shaver I have always used electric. The convenience without nicks has always been a plus for me. I have tended to replace heads ,foils etc which combined with reasonable maintenance has until now served me ok with occasional new buys. However I decided that my old shaver a Phillips (rotary) which had served me well needed replacing and after a fair amount of research decided on this model. I was astounded when I used it. It runs very fast, gives good coverage and an amazingly close shave. Why I did not buy earlier I regret. All I can say is that like new cars they are getting better and better. Thoroughly recommended.

All good so far
Easily the best electric shaver I have owned. Fast, smooth,close and very comfortable shave which lasts me all day. Fully charged battery lasts me almost a full fortnight and the cleaning/charging station is very convenient, easy to use and does a very good job. Have not had it long enough to comment on the longevity of the item but found no bad points so far and would recommend this razor to anyone.
