pro: great build quality, instantly paired to my surface automatically, tilt feature is cool, works great for what it was designed for, nice weight and general feel. cons: first this you notice right out of the box is that it has no clip, the button(that i have figured out) can only be bound to open programs, not functions, some websites or programs really don't like to work well with it, lastly if you buy it for the full Microsoft price of $100, I feel like that is way to expensive for what it is and what you can do with it. (I got it for less so I'm happy)

Movement lag is substantial. The right-click button is too tight, hard to press. Still handy to pick small items on the screen though.

I was looking to get a pen for my SB2, and researched all the pen models before my purchase. The 1776 model was the preferred model. Once that was out of the way, I looked for the right price. Since owning the pen, it does everything I expected and a must have if you're into note taking, drawing or coloring. I highly recommend this pen!

The surface pen is a valuable add on to the Surface Pro. In addition to substituting for a mouse or track pad for the Windows interface, it allows me to make quick annotations to my sheet music in rehearsals as if with pen and paper. The only reason I withheld a star was that the listing did not make clear that the clip was missing, a minor defect that does not impair functionality.
