Very poor standard of manufacture.
Failed after 30 minutes running in on rolling road at medium speed. Speed suddenly reduced to half test speed and smoke emitting from tender. (The motor is in the loco...so not a motor burn out!) Awaiting response from Hornby Hobbies BUT a failure on a brand new item after 30 minutes indicates either sub-standard materials or very poor manufacturing standards.
