Looks great, solid feel, easy to use
Great looking, easy to use with a solid feel. Does keep water hot for longer but does (as it states) depend on the amount of remaining water in the kettle. Pouring could be better as does not flow like a conventional kettle...otherwise, great modern looking kettle.....additional comments after further use....very heavy....not a problem for me as I am strong as ox...too heavy for normal people...also be prepared to get scolded/splashed with hot water as the pour is pretty useless.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Good Kettle but claims it stays hot for 4 hours are falase and misleading
Good kettle but the claim you can boil it and 4 hours later won't need to boil again is false. The temperature falls to a level even over an hour that you need to reboil it again to the desired temperature. The reboiling is quick though.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

The quality I thought is excellent, very robust & of a high standard! Innovative & looks great in an kitchen whilst offering different colours! The base is very well made, with it's very light touch controls for various boil temperatures, & even a water level monitor to tell you how much water you have left for the cups remaining!! The price is very good if you choose to go for a refurbished one as I did, & once received I couldn't really tell the difference between a brand new one! Black Friday bargain!
We saw this when it was first advertised on TV and thought it looked like a good idea, but it was SO expensive! So we passed. Fast forward a couple of years, and there it was in a black Friday deal, so we said "what the hell" and ordered one. Best buy EVER! It's great! We almost never BOIL the water any more, and it keeps the water hot for several hours. Limescale is no longer a problem, and we're saving energy by not boiling the water over and over. Oh, and it looks great! I especially like the feature that tells you how many cups are still in the jug, and it also tells you the temperature of it. Clever. Overall, there's not much I DON'T like about it; about the only criticism is that the pouring spout tends to spray water about when you're pouring out of a full jug. Really, it's not a problem, just a tiny bit annoying on a product that's so great otherwise. If you're thinking of buying one, do it. We read the reviews about this product on several websites. It wasn't too heavy as some suggested. We have found it boils quickly but you must remember to click the lid down fully after filling the kettle (as you have to remove it to fill up) and although it does not retain water temperature for very long, it does make boiling the kettle next time quicker. Lovely kettle, very expensive
I was glad to find a second hand kettle as the new price was beyond my means. I like being able to heat water to 90°C for coffee. The smaller 1.2 litre kettle is a good size for me. I have to tip it almost upside down before any hot water is released which can be a little awkward.
