Really easy to install and set up. It's way easier than the hardwired ring floodlight cam to install, no electrical knowledge needed. Just plug it in and mount it to the wall. The cord is really long to get you to the nearest outlet. I definitely recommend the wired option versus the battery option, no need to charge it and the motion settings features are waaayy better. The motion zones can really be customized and people only mode limits the unwanted alerts when cars drive by.

The plug doesn't come off and the other end of the wire goes straight into the back of the camera with no jack plug so how can it be fitted outside and plugged in inside? I'm mystified. Who has an outside socket? At this price, I dare not cut the wire, which would invalidate the guarantee and would make it unreturnable. If anyone has an answer I'd be pleased to hear it. It promised to do all that I wanted and it was top quality and I was sad to return it.
