Good Quality Product
I deliberately bought the genuine CK Tools version of these, not a Chinese knock-off because they have a reputation for quality and durability and I wasn’t disappointed. These strip right pretty much every time and the mechanism is smooth and never jams. Adjustable tension means you can reduce pressure on thinner wires and prevent excessive jaw marks and snapped wires when dealing with thin gauges. My only minor point is make sure you flick the insulation from your previous strip out of the jaws, or it can get caught and mess up the next crimp. Excellent piece of kit.
Hi, I like this CK Automatic Wire Stripper a lot and have been putting it through its paces since it arrived. It's not lightweight which is a bonus but it is robust and fit for purpose; how useful to be able to cut cable and strip insulation using just one tool. The handle length is just right; not too short but long enough to give lots of cutting power; it strips twin & earth cable effortlessly both the outer and inner insulation; it even strips the two inner insulation's together saving lots of messing around. An Robust Dependable Product
This purchase was mainly for DIY. Which admittedly I have not as yet used it for. However, I have been using to wire up a digital model railway, which is a good test for smaller gauge wire. It has performed really well and have used a couple of times for wiring plugs and a circuit breaker with larger gauge wire. Overall the product performs well with pleasing results. Just what you need
I am just an amateur who does a lot of small electronic jobs on a diy basis so probably not a good reviewer, but seeing as I used to strip wires with my teeth for 30 years my dentist loves me and a clean break on the wire makes for a far safer connection, very happy with the product and very happy to almost look proffesional when soldering now.
