Weedol is NOT Verdone
The advertising suggests Weedol is just a change of brand name. But Weedol is a different formula from Verdone, and doesn't perform in the same way, nor apparently do well what it claims. Widespread Buttercup was quickly affected, but appears to have survived and is growing again. Lesser celanding takes ages to show any effect. Nothing about "difficult" weeds. Very disappointing. Little goes a long way
Have had a problem with yellow Suckling Clover and Speedwell in my lawn for the first time ever(haven't got a clue where it came from). I researched weed specific killers anf found 'Weedol Verdone Extra' this did the job. As I guessed I might have the problem again I purchased the litre bottle of concentrate as named. Verdone is now Weedol and just as good
After many years trying out different gardening products I was left devastated when I could not find Verdone and was informed that it had been taken off the market. I have now found Verdone to be re-named as Weedol. Being wary of it being an inferior copy of its former self, I tried it and found it to be just as good as its former self. Verdone / WEEDOL is the only weedkiller I will use on a lawn as in a liquid form it does not scorch the grass when in a dry period.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
