Great item, have a battery dremel, but needed something mains powered for longer running time. It has more torque than the battery dremel, and a nice to have is the flexible drive included. Only criticism would be the case is brittle.

It's a good little item, but not the most powerful. It did the job i wanted it to do tho, so in my opinion it was well worth the money. Also if you press on too hard, it will stop and you then have to click the button 3 times to turn it back up to it's maximum power.

Take my advice - JUST BUY IT ! You won't be sorry. This a well made and well-designed product, and excellent value into the bargain - credit where it is worth. There are no instructions included on how to connect the Dremel-type flexidrive, but it's dead simple and quick when you know how and there is plenty of YouTube guidance guidance to save your working it out. And if anybody complains about the holding-case, they are absolute un-grateful nit-pickers. I say "Thank you".

I got this because my dremel broke, to use until I get the parts to fix it. Out of the box, I was impressed at the feel of the plastics and chunkiness, it doesn't feel flimsy or cheap. The unit is about a 1/3 bigger than my little old dremel so I'd get the pack with a flex extender. The range of speeds is useful, and the unit is surprisingly OK regarding noise, it's no louder than my dremel at average speeds. I was concerned at the beginning, because the unit gets hot VERY quickly, compared to my old dremel, but after using it for a couple of hours on and off, it seems to have settled down a bit. The motor bogs down if you dig in, but not unreasonably. It's not quite as good as the dremel, and I'd recommend that you get one of those instead, especially if you are into power carving, but if you're just using it as an occasional general use multi-tool, it's great. The product seems to be well made. It works well and would be very good for the price even without the stand and the flexible drive, which are included and greatly increase the ease of use. I have had flexible drives in the past which although cheap were not substantial enough for the work, this one is. Many of the cheaper small multi-tools run too fast and burn the small drill bits, but the variable speed feature overcomes that. This is a serious alternative to the Dremel which would be double the price without the accessories. I am very favourably impressed.
