    Solid units

Arrived in a relatively small (but heavy box) with adequate packaging to prevent any damage. Comes with English instructions with fairly simple diagrams to point you in the right direction when putting them together. Don't be fooled by the seemingly weak metal struts, the strength of the unit lies in the finished structure, and it is easily strong enough to take a great deal of weight once fully assembled with the board shelves in place. Have about 10 tins of paint on one shelf, no problem at all. One thing to note, you will need a rubber mallet to put this together, and probably a flat head screwdriver to bend a couple of the metal flaps on the central supporting bars for the shelves to added rigidity. Overall, very happy with these for the money.

No way it holds 175 kilos per shelf (27.5 stone)

Advert says 175 kilos per shelf but now it's assembled it dose not looking like it's up to that much. Bought to keep gearboxes and heavy other heavy parts on but won't be putting anything over 40 kilos on per shelf now ! This is easy to assemble and is ideal to keep light things on but not if you want to put lots of weight on it.

  • Solid, well made, completely fit for purpose.

I'm not sure about the reviews regarding how difficult this is to build - I found it simple and straightforward. You just have to be systematic and take care that the tabs are aligned correctly. The only potential for losing skin is bending the tabs back on the shelf strengthening bars by shoving a screwdriver underneath, but if you squeeze the front and back bars together it'll raise the tab enough to make a gap. It's sturdy when built and looks tidy. The MDF does off-gas a bit so be careful if it's going indoors. I'd question the weight rating though, especially as the shelves are only 5mm MDF, but you're not going to be putting a tonne of parts on a £30 shelf unit so it's fine for most uses. I'd definitely buy another.

  • Honest review

I bought this to replace some shelving I have in my room that was falling apart and cheaply made. I had read reviews about this product and wanted to see for myself if it was worth it. It came felt heavy in the box which was a good sign. Opened it to reveal some instructions which were mainly diagrams and you can work it out, especially if you are used to flat pack. Started assembling and once all the four corners and sides were installed properly it felt reasonably secure and stable. I am only putting books and other lighter items on the shelves which this is perfect for. I would imagine storing paint tubs and spare car parts etc would take this weight for sure. I didn’t need a hammer I used my own weight to attach together but I can see why people are saying using a hammer to ensure that you don’t ruin the frames. They can easily scratch but fine for me. The connecting parts that fit in to the slots can be a bit fiddly you have to make sure you align them up properly with the hole before pushing them down or locking in to place, but again easily doable. They are a bit malleable also to adjust so don’t worry you can release and reattach properly. All in all I’ve had these for a week and am quite impressed with the quality for the price! The company delivered on time and was recorded. I would recommend if you’re looking for decent shelving at a bargain price. Thank you.

  • 5 Tier shelving

package was heavy but arrived in good condition. Easy to assemble but requires 2 people ideally as until first shelf supports are all fitted assembly is quite flimsy. once completed unit is very sturdy & does what it's advertised to do. would recommend screwing to wall for safety & unit is pre-drilled for this purpose.

  • functional , sturdy shelving

seems flimsy to start with, but easy to build and the finished shelving is sturdy already piled high with the usual assortment of garage rubbish

  • Exceeds expectation!

I was surprised at the stability of this product when there is no requirement for nuts, bolts or screws to put it together. I also like the way in which you have the choice as to how you set out the spacing of the shelving and amount of shelves you require. It is stron and very adaptable. Good stuff.

  • Good sturdy racking

Arrived on time and was well packaged. Went together fairly easily, needed a little persuasion with a screwdriver to open up some of the slots and a rubbed faced mallet to knock the pieces into place. Very sturdy and well designed. Good value and recommended,

  • Great just the job

I am using these to store garage bits and pieces, boxed up and nothing really heavy , if heavy it goes low on the rack. The racking full height and 3 in a row bolted to the wall feels strong and secure. Great thanks.
