The item was flimsy and unsturdy. There were parts broken and the bolt included didnt fit in the hole. I found the description of the product untrue. The material was not strong or robust. The Birds love it
Very pleased with bird feeder. The birds took a few weeks to find it as we have it by the house wall but now its like gatwick airport. It lights up well at night. Its quite light so you do have to secure to the ground. The planter could have done with some drainage holes otherwise us and the birds love it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Have to say, the bird bath looks good after I finally put it together !! Only issue I have is I pressed the switch to on for the solar light but it won't come on. Its tiny.
You think this is the one they sell on the high street but in fact this is a lot smaller. The size is mentioned but you would not think there was two sizes. This is the smaller version. Its okay for tiny birds to drink and play in but it really has no impact unless you have a postage stamp garden. The Solar light gave up after a couple of weeks.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

lightweight but bottom half needs someone with strong wrists
looks lovely in my garden but putting it together took a bit of effort for me as an older woman. top half was good and easy as it all screwed together but bottom half (4 components) had to slot together and twisted to hold it. that's what i couldnt do. (had to get a joiner that had come to do a joinery job to twist it together and put top half on bottom one. but once done its pretty sturdy. if it had ALL had to be screwed together would have been very easy to assemble even for this old lady. would be easy for most people i would think,Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Ok. Wouldn't buy again
Assembly was a little difficult. Shorter than I thought. My fault should of read discription. Even with plants at the bottom. Wind blow it over. And we're e only in August so don't know about the winter. Only got bird bath left as top broke off in wind. Well priced, sturdy and useful product for the garden
Lightweight, yet sturdy and has survived the recent winds so far. I weight it down with a fair few small stones to prevent any wobbles and aid traction for the birds. It took a couple of weeks for the birds to use it; mainly by the local robin, tits and sparrows. I haven't seen any starlings in there yet, they seem to prefer the roof guttering still.
