Useless as a slave flash. In manual mode there is no way to tell if is charged and ready to fire as the READY light is on all the time..
As a slave flash it is pretty much useless. It will slave fire randomly and I cannot find a way to make it reliable. I tried near and far from the master flash. I tried facing towards and facing away from the master flash. I was unable to get reliable firing. The other useless feature is that the ready/pilot light is in all the time so you dont know when it has charged up and ready to fire. It only really works as a standard manual flash but again because the ready light is always on you never really know if it will fire or just sit there. There are similar conclusions on youtube. I have a big Andoer brand flash which was very good value and works well. This one is mince.
