Works but with limitations
Fine for soldering 2 or 3 joints in light wire but not suitable for soldering say 8 or 10 joints because it cuts out before you finish the job and you then have to wait for it to cool.It looks to be well made but I'm less sure that bits are in a suitable metal. Other solder guns use copper bits and if you use 1.5mm copper it heats quickly and solves the problem. Perhaps Silverline should look into this.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
