It works and ato powers up and down - NEAT!
Ever left your microphone on and flattened the battery? Then this is THE mic for you! When this mic is plugged into your camera, it will switch on AND off WITH the camera, simple! However if you turn it on unplugged - it will stay on of course. This mic has nice roll off for a directional and you can use a deadcat to subdue mild wind BUT caution is needed in most windy situations with this mic and you'll be well advised to use a blimp and an NTG mic instead. Shooting indoors is quite good but if lowering to -10db to reduce echo and still problems then use a Rode lavalier.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
