This rear 4-point strut bar fits all versions of the Toyota MR2 Mk3 Spyder 1.8. Fitting a rear strut bar helps to stop the suspension turrets flexing while cornering, this increased chassis stiffness means the suspension is able to work from a more stable platform which in turn means increased cornering speeds and improved handling predictability. The bar bolts to the existing bolts so there is no requirements to cut or weld the car. Fitting note: If you have the rear wheels on the ground you will find this difficult to fit.
