Despite what other reviewers may have said, this boxed set actually offers fantastic value for money for someone starting a Sisters of Battle army of their own. Apart from the miniatures, which I'll cover in a moment, you also get a limited Edition Sisters of Battle codex (no cover writing, just beautiful wraparound artwork) and both sets of Datacards (RRP £40). You also get some dice, which thankfully aren't the Sisters of Battle themed ones and are thus fully legible and usable. The 25 miniatures form a mixture of assault and tactical troops, with several large characters and showpiece miniatures, unique to the set. If you were to buy the individual units alone, you would be looking at a combined cost of over £100. Sadly this is a limited edition set and is no longer available, except hidden away on a few shelves. The original Sisters of Battle armies are now worth an enormous amount and this set is inevitably going to follow in their footsteps, except being plastic, I suspect many fewer figures will survive. :)Read full review

It’s nice to see the return of women to the game, without being semi-naked! An expensive set but not bad value considering you get the codex, cards and dice along with these beautiful miniatures
