My problem was with a dripping Bristan Echo Kitchen Mixer tap. I ordered specifically for the make and model but the valve supplied was different to the one I had removed. While it fitted it made the lever very tight so that it was difficult for my wife to use. The supplier responded to my complaint quickly and after trying what they suggested without having any effect they sent me two different washers to try. One of these worked ok and the lever continues to be much easier to operate.

While this cartridge fits, it is shorter than the original Bristan cartridge which means you will need to file down the tap lever by at least 1-2mm to make it work. So overall okay but not great.
